What you'll do

• Prepare, label, and dispense medications
• perform accurate computer order entry
• supervise and verify drug-distribution tasks performed by support staff
• interpret medication orders and monitor drug regimens
• intervene when clarification is needed or therapeutic problems are identified
• support adherence packaging and patient education
• promote cost-effective drug therapy
• document activities
• provide drug information when needed
• maintain records and comply with applicable regulations and HIPAA.
