The Special Needs Caregiver — Evening Shift role is onsite in a private family home in Lithia, FL. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. The caregiver provides one-on-one support to a patient with special needs who lives with their parents. The role supports the patient’s daily care, supervision, and emotional well-being while helping maintain a safe, calm home environment. Care includes personal assistance, meal encouragement, companionship, and safe de-escalation when challenging behaviors or crises arise.

What you'll do

• Provide personalized one-on-one care and supervision
• assist with dressing and daily personal care
• prompt and encourage meals
• perform light housekeeping and laundry
• provide companionship and emotional support
• recognize behavioral triggers and use safe de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors or crisis situations
• maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment.
