What you'll do

• Administer and support SQL Server and cloud databases
• monitor uptime and availability
• troubleshoot connectivity, access, security, and application/database issues
• tune long-running SQL
• install, upgrade, patch, and migrate databases
• use operating-system scripting utilities for maintenance and diagnosis
• review database implementation and recommend or execute changes
• provide help desk and application support as part of the team rotation.
