Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile Processing Technician role is onsite in Alliance, OH, with a full-time schedule from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday, including rotating weekends and holidays. Pay is $19.00–$24.00 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry, including sterile processing. This role reprocesses medical and surgical supplies and equipment for patient care. The technician decontaminates, inspects, assembles, sterilizes, tracks, and distributes instruments and equipment while maintaining processing records and testing equipment.

What you'll do

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and transport medical supplies, instruments, and equipment
• prepare and label packages and instrument trays
• gather used supplies and return them after sterilization
• maintain distribution records and work areas
• perform quality and performance testing
• track instrumentation and maintain sterilization records
• test powered surgical equipment and perform flexible endoscope leak tests.

Why this role

CRCST and CFER certifications are required; prior CRCST/CBSPD experience is preferred. Related associate degree preferred; college courses or related experience may substitute.
