Medical Receptionist

The Medical Receptionist role is onsite in Sugar Land, TX, with pay of $16–$18 per hour. The position supports a client wellness organization in the Houston area through Team1Medical. The receptionist coordinates patient flow and front-desk operations, helping patients move through appointments efficiently while supporting providers’ daily clinical work. The role combines scheduling, check-in and check-out, patient communication, basic clinical support, and supply upkeep.

What you'll do

• Schedule and confirm appointments
• check patients in and out
• collect copays
• room patients and take vital signs
• prepare and escort patients to exam rooms
• support providers with daily clinical operations and requested tasks
• respond to patient inquiries by phone, email, or in person
• maintain an organized reception area
• monitor and stock medical and office supplies and equipment.
