• Lead conceptual and schematic cost estimates
• use historical data, quantity take-offs, unit pricing and systems or line-count methods
• present estimates to teams and clients
• coordinate trade or discipline estimators
• conduct risk analyses
• maintain cost data and benchmarking tools
• support opportunity conversion
• and mentor junior estimators.
