Director of Supply Chain

The Director of Supply Chain is an onsite role in Prince George, VA. Compensation is $150,000–$180,000 per year. The position leads purchasing, inventory management, and procurement activities at VSP Technologies. The director develops and manages supply chain strategies to meet fill-rate and inventory-turn objectives. The role leads the inventory and procurement teams, coordinates with other departments, and manages supplier relationships, controls, and reporting to support customer delivery expectations.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the inventory and procurement teams
• establish and evaluate inventory management policies and procedures
• monitor inventory levels and movement through the ERP system
• coordinate inventory needs across departments
• investigate inventory incidents and compliance issues
• negotiate supplier terms and pricing
• audit and qualify suppliers under ISO 9001 requirements
• support departments with vendor, product, delivery, and sourcing information
• resolve vendor invoice discrepancies
• uphold health, safety, and environmental policies.
