Heavy Equipment Technician

Job overview

The Heavy Equipment Technician role is onsite in Hermiston, OR, with pay of $31–$39 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. REIC Rentals provides equipment and technical support to customers in oil and gas, construction, industrial, and event industries. The technician maintains, diagnoses, and repairs rental equipment to support safe and reliable customer operations. The role also documents service work, follows safety policies, and helps customers understand proper equipment operation and maintenance.

What you'll do

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on rental equipment
• service gas- and diesel-powered machinery, HVAC systems, generators, and light towers
• conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings
• interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• maintain service records
• train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
• collaborate with teammates and escalate complex issues
• follow company and customer safety policies.
