Class A CDL Route Driver

Job overview

The Class A CDL Route Driver role is onsite in Des Moines, IA, with compensation of $28–$32 per hour. Liberty Tire Recycling provides tire recycling services, transforming used tires into raw materials for sustainable products. Working with a Route Helper, the driver safely collects, loads, transports, and delivers used tires along assigned routes. The role supports customer service and recycling operations through compliant vehicle operation, secure loads, accurate documentation, and safe handling of tires; peak-season routes may require being away from home up to three nights per week.

What you'll do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes
• work with a Route Helper to load, stack, and secure used tires
• serve as the customer-location contact and complete service documentation
• inspect equipment before, during, and after trips and complete DVIRs
• complete DOT logs, route paperwork, and bills of lading
• maintain clean and safe equipment
• communicate with dispatch and operations
• follow DOT, FMCSA, company safety, and environmental requirements.
