Quality Engineer II

The Quality Engineer II role is onsite in Cape Canaveral, FL, with compensation of $94,000–$130,000 per year. The position supports Relativity Space’s Launch team, which works across Terran R flight hardware and launch operations. The role provides quality oversight for test and launch operations and helps ensure quality processes span development, test, and flight. Through cross-functional coordination, data analysis, and corrective actions, the engineer supports hardware readiness and launch execution.

What you'll do

• Provide quality oversight for test and launch operations, including in-process build verification, issue ticket management, as-built verification, and non-conformance management
• plan and execute quality activities through work instruction reviews, process development, corrective action plans, and rework/repair documentation
• support the AS9100 Quality Management System
• collaborate with Launch, Test, Manufacturing, and Responsible Engineering teams
• use data and metrics to identify trends and root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions
• contribute to process improvement
• support procurement and hardware readiness as needed.
