The Preschool Teacher — Paid Winter Break role is onsite in Mansfield, MA, with compensation of $18–$24 per hour. The teacher supports Magical Beginnings’ early education center and its pre-kindergarten students. The role leads classroom routines and age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Working with a co-teacher, the teacher prepares curriculum and materials, tracks progress, communicates with families, and maintains a safe, clean, engaging classroom.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with a co-teacher on curriculum, lesson plans, materials, and monthly newsletters
• share parent information through Class Dojo and classroom boards
• provide age-appropriate interactive activities
• supervise play and outdoor time and assist with meals, bathroom needs, diapering, and naps
• maintain classroom cleanliness and prepare it for the next morning
• follow schedules
• track progress and complete assessments
• maintain required professional development hours and PQ registry
• attend monthly staff meetings
• build positive relationships with students and parents.
