What you'll do

• Greet and assist patients
• verify patient information and record medical history, medications, and visit purpose
• enter data in the electronic medical record
• assess pupils, eye muscles, visual acuity, and extraocular movements
• perform dilation, refraction, pressure checks, visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refraction, and topography tests
• document visits and procedures
• prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures
• take vital signs as required
• clean and stock rooms and maintain drug counts.
