Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Longmont, CO. The expected hourly wage is $27–$30. INFICON provides instrumentation, sensor technologies, and software solutions used in manufacturing and other industrial processes. The technician maintains coating manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime and support reliable production. The role coordinates preventive maintenance, replaces critical components, documents equipment condition, follows cleanroom and hazardous-material safety procedures, and works with engineering, operations, and EHS teams.

What you'll do

• Maintain coating manufacturing equipment and related logs, schedules, and spare parts
• coordinate preventive-maintenance schedules with engineering and materials supervision
• perform weekly preventive maintenance on vacuum deposition systems
• replace coating components and critical parts
• disassemble reactor chambers and manage external rework and refurbishment
• inspect and document equipment condition
• follow safety protocols when handling and installing coating precursors
• follow vacuum technology and cleanroom practices
• help resolve tool-related emergencies
• collaborate with process engineering, operations, and EHS
• improve preventive-maintenance procedures and system reliability.
