Maintenance Technician II, Facilities Management

The position also provides lead coverage for General Maintenance Workers and Maintenance Technician I staff when the supervisor is absent.

What you'll do

• Review daily assignments
• perform building maintenance, repairs, installations, remodeling, and improvements
• assist with facilities decisions involving remodeling, HVAC updates, and equipment
• repair and move furniture
• read blueprints and estimate materials for construction and remodeling
• perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• inspect facilities and equipment
• maintain spare-parts inventory
• repair floor and wall coverings
• address unsafe conditions
• recommend equipment
• provide lead coverage when the supervisor is absent
• attend meetings and development programs
• report early for snow removal.

Why this role

Floating weekday shifts between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; on-call rotation includes a Saturday every 6 to 7 weeks. Requires DDC knowledge, HVAC maintenance experience, and three years of relevant trade experience; geothermal knowledge preferred.
