What you'll do

• Follow instructions from project managers and management
• maintain and enforce safety standards
• move, secure, install, build, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• weld and fabricate repairs and installations for plant equipment, chutes, and crushers
• repair and install mechanical parts
• read schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• use stick welding and oxy-acetylene torches safely
• direct job-site cleaning and preparation
• assist crew members as needed
• apply oils and greases to equipment specifications.
