What you'll do

• Load and secure materials
• set up equipment
• place, remove, or maintain underground utilities
• carry materials, jackhammer, shovel, tamp, and install pipes, ducts, or cables
• perform trenching and boring
• place hand holes
• install fiber-optic cable
• locate underground wiring
• conduct job hazard analyses
• secure worksites and equipment
• follow safety regulations.
