Highway Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Highway Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Orange Park, FL, with pay of $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. DCS Asset Maintenance provides infrastructure and maintenance contracting services to state DOTs, railroads, and other customers.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair roads and infrastructure assets, including pothole patching, striping, concrete and asphalt work, drainage, vegetation, signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting.
• Set up and remove traffic-control devices, remove litter and debris, work at heights, transport crews and equipment, and perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment.
• Participate in emergency response rotations, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
