Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Akron, OH. Compensation is $14–$15 per hour. The position supports food service for residents at The Merriman, a long-term care community.

What you'll do

• Assist with food functions under established policies
• prepare and deliver items for medication passes
• set up meal trays according to residents’ specified diets
• serve and deliver meals, retrieve trays, and process dishware
• clean and sanitize work areas
• respond to requests from nursing staff and residents
• assist with food preparation and authorized substitutions
• maintain food storage areas and supplies
• report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues.
