The Preschool Teacher, Ages 2–3 role is onsite in Columbia, MD, and pays $18–$21 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 9:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Celebree School focuses on growth and development for children and team members. The teacher creates a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom where preschool children learn through developmentally appropriate activities. The role also supports early language and literacy, communicates with parents, and may help classroom aides develop toward teacher roles.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
• create a welcoming and inclusive classroom
• integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy into daily routines
• maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety
• communicate with parents about children’s development
• help classroom aides with their growth toward becoming teachers.
