The Paraeducator is an onsite role based in Elk Creek, NE, with a pay range of $17 - $20 per hour. This position supports the ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education team in delivering specialized education services to students in grades K-9. This role exists to provide personalized academic and behavioral support, ensuring students meet their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. The paraeducator acts as a key member of the classroom team, facilitating learning, managing behavior, and providing essential support to ensure student success.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with teachers to support a safe learning environment
• implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions
• monitor student progress and maintain accurate behavioral logs
• provide support for students with learning or behavioral disabilities
• assist with crisis management and de-escalation
• maintain student record confidentiality
• participate in school-wide meetings.
