Residential Maintenance Technician

The Residential Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Annandale, VA, with compensation of $21.63–$26.44 per hour. The technician reports to the Property Manager under the Maintenance Supervisor. What you'll do

• Respond to tenant and building work orders within 24 hours and document completed work
• perform preventive maintenance
• diagnose and repair HVAC units
• complete minor to moderate plumbing and electrical repairs
• repair or replace appliances
• support unit preparation and painting projects as needed
• maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance files
• follow safety and hazard communication procedures.

Why this role

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, one to three years of facility maintenance or mechanical repair experience, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II or Universal and/or Pool Certification at hire or within 90 days. May include irregular hours, evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime for emergencies.
