Field Maintenance Technician – Restaurant Equipment

Job overview

The Field Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Albion, IN, and pays $25–$35 per hour. The position serves Polly Management’s Dairy Queen restaurants, helping keep restaurant equipment and facilities operating safely and efficiently. The technician travels among restaurant locations to diagnose and repair equipment, complete preventive maintenance, and address facility needs. The work helps reduce downtime and extend equipment life while keeping restaurant operations functioning; the schedule includes a rotating on-call assignment and emergency nights or weekends as needed.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial restaurant equipment
• perform routine HVAC and refrigeration maintenance within training and certification
• complete general facility repairs
• conduct preventive maintenance
• complete service requests and communicate status and follow-up needs
• document work, parts, equipment condition, and recommended repairs
• coordinate with specialized contractors when needed
• maintain the company vehicle, tools, parts, and work areas
• follow safety procedures. Participate in the on-call rotation and travel regularly between assigned locations.
