Dietary Assistant

The Dietary Assistant role is onsite in Orchard City, CO. Pay is $17.40–$19.65 per hour based on experience. The position supports food and nutrition services at Horizons Care Center, a long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and respite services community. The assistant helps provide food service that meets residents’ nutritional and individual needs. By preparing and serving meals and completing cleaning duties according to procedures, the role supports residents’ daily care.

What you'll do

• Assist with defined food preparation and meal service
• complete cleaning duties according to procedures
• use dietary equipment and supplies as assigned
• follow procedures and special assignments directed by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, management team, or cook.

Why this role

Part-time position, 25 hours per week. Days vary, with shifts of 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 11:30 AM–7:30 PM. Previous institutional dietary service experience is preferred.
