R&D Fabrication Technologist (MIG/TIG, GD&T)

The R&D Fabrication Technologist (MIG/TIG, GD&T) role is onsite in Concord, MA, with compensation of $30–$40 per hour. The role works with an engineering and manufacturing team in a prototype-to-production environment. The technologist fabricates and inspects precision parts from engineering drawings, supporting product development and manufacturability. Collaboration with engineers and technicians helps move prototypes toward production while maintaining quality and safe shop practices.

What you'll do

• MIG- and TIG-weld carbon and stainless steel
• fabricate parts and assemblies from engineering drawings
• operate bandsaws and shop machinery and perform basic milling
• interpret weld symbols, GD&T, and bills of material
• inspect dimensional accuracy
• maintain a safe, orderly work area and support continuous improvement.
