The Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer role is onsite in Kirkland, WA. The expected annual salary range is $124,733–$187,048. Echodyne develops compact solid-state beam-steering radar products for applications including autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft, and critical infrastructure protection. The engineer sustains fielded and in-production radar products by investigating defects, improving reliability and manufacturability, and supporting production and field performance. The role partners across engineering, manufacturing, test, quality, and supply chain to implement durable circuit-level improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Develop, verify, and document sustaining design updates
• evaluate components, materials, and supplier alternatives and support replacement qualification
• develop engineering change order packages and release documentation
• lead root-cause investigations, failure analysis, and corrective/preventive actions for analog and mixed-signal circuits
• debug and characterize mixed-signal PCB assemblies in lab and production environments
• partner with Manufacturing and Test to improve test coverage, debug flows, and production yield.
