Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job overview

The Class A CDL Truck Driver role is onsite at the company’s Martell, NE location, about 15 miles southwest of Lincoln. Compensation is $22–$28 per hour. Brandt Excavating supports construction projects by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites. The driver moves materials and equipment safely and efficiently while following DOT requirements and assigned schedules. Accurate inspections, load security, documentation, and communication with project teams help keep job-site operations supplied and running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Operate Class A or Class B commercial trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations
• inspect vehicles and report mechanical or safety issues
• maintain logs, trip reports, and required documentation
• follow routes and schedules while adapting to job-site needs
• communicate with supervisors, project managers, and site personnel
• report defects, accidents, and violations
• maintain clean and orderly vehicles
• maneuver trucks for loading and unloading
• participate in required safety training.
