The Production Team Lead — Second Shift role is onsite in West Point, GA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM. The posting states pay of $22.20 per hour; overtime may be required based on production needs. The lead supports assembly and manufacturing operations and reports to the IWS Operations Manager. This hands-on leadership role directs production employees, coordinates workflow, and supports training and issue resolution so the team can meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
What you'll do
- Provide daily direction to production employees
- monitor production and workflow
- train employees and maintain training documentation
- verify employees are trained for assigned work
- support safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
- identify obstacles and work with leadership to resolve them
- recommend process and workflow improvements
- reinforce policies, procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards
- partner with the Operations Manager on employee concerns
- maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
- support applicable IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
