Job overview

The Dietitian role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, with in-person one-to-one therapy and indirect services such as documentation and communication completed from home. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Rehab Without Walls’ care for individuals, including people with neurological injuries such as traumatic brain injury or stroke. The dietitian assesses nutritional status, develops and adjusts therapeutic nutrition plans, and educates patients and families about dietary needs. Collaboration with physicians, nursing personnel, and the multidisciplinary team helps coordinate individualized care from evaluation through discharge.

What you'll do

• Provide professional nutritional services in accordance with practice standards and applicable requirements
• assess patients’ nutritional status and dietary needs
• consult with physicians to establish dietary treatments and calculate therapeutic diets
• educate patients and families about dietary modifications and relevant drug-nutrient interactions
• monitor responses and revise plans as appropriate
• maintain confidential records and participate in quality improvement and continuing education.
