Marine Mechanic

The Marine Mechanic role is onsite in East Newport, ME. Compensation is $18.04–$20.05 per hour. Cooke Aquaculture’s maintenance team supports the safe and efficient operation of company vessels and equipment. The mechanic performs welding, fabrication, repair, and preventive maintenance to keep marine equipment operational. The role diagnoses mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, documents completed work, and follows safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding repairs and fabrication
• inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment
• conduct preventive and predictive maintenance
• install, modify, and repair equipment components
• document maintenance activities and repairs
• maintain a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
