What you'll do

• Assist with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing department operations
• maintain and update policies and procedures
• coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• participate in quality assurance and facility surveys
• support discharge planning and required reporting
• assist with staffing, recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• make department rounds and report findings
• monitor resident care, medication passes, and treatment schedules
• provide direct nursing care as necessary
• support staff orientation and training
• promote safety, sanitation, and infection control
• monitor equipment and supply needs
• participate in resident assessments and care planning.
