What you'll do

• Collect and label specimens for routine and special procedures
• perform phlebotomy and related standard laboratory techniques
• verify patient identification and collection requirements
• collect blood, urine, toxicology, and microbiological specimens
• accession specimens in the receiving area
• ensure timely transport and distribution to laboratory sections, coordinating transport when workloads prevent delivery.
