Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Alexandria, VA, and pays $26 per hour. The technician supports residential property maintenance and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role helps keep apartments, building systems, grounds, and common areas in good repair by completing resident service requests, unit turns, and other maintenance work. It contributes to responsive service for residents and the upkeep of the property.

What you'll do

• Complete resident service requests and turn units in a timely manner
• assist with maintenance projects and preventative maintenance
• report repair concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager
• help keep grounds and common areas clear of trash and debris
• perform emergency on-call service and snow removal as required
• assist with resident functions as needed.
