Construction Collections Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Construction Collections Accounts Receivable Specialist role is fully onsite in Yorba Linda, CA, with compensation of $28–$33 per hour. The specialist joins an accounting team within a growing construction organization. The role supports day-to-day accounts receivable and collections by following up on overdue balances, resolving billing and documentation issues, and keeping customer accounts and collection records accurate and current.

What you'll do

• Follow up on outstanding accounts and past-due balances
• make outbound collection calls
• handle construction billing documentation, including progress billing, schedules of values, retention, releases and lien waivers, and public agency billing
• respond to invoice and payment inquiries
• research unpaid invoices and resolve account issues
• document collection activity and promises to pay
• assist with reconciliations and accounting projects.
