Senior HVAC Technician

Job overview

The Senior HVAC Technician works onsite in Germantown, MD. Compensation is $59,500–$85,000 per year. The role supports EchoStar’s Facilities team, which maintains the offices and onsite operations where teams work. The technician installs, repairs, replaces, tests, and maintains commercial HVAC/R systems and environmental controls. The role contributes to reliable building operations by servicing equipment, troubleshooting controls, and supporting general facility maintenance as needed.

What you'll do

• Assist with installation, repair, and servicing of environmental control systems
• fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and chassis components
• cut, bend, fit, thread, and join piping and tubing
• install filters and adjust controls
• connect, adjust, and troubleshoot temperature control systems
• lubricate fans, motors, and control units
• read blueprints and engineering specifications
• perform additional duties as required, including painting, cleaning, snow removal, and general building maintenance.
