The Lead Critical Engineering Technician role is onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL, with a stated pay range of $45–$50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Stream Data Centers develops and operates data center infrastructure. The role exists to maintain reliable, safe operation of critical and non-critical facility systems. It leads maintenance work, monitors building and power/cooling performance, documents procedures, and helps train and mentor critical engineering technicians.

What you'll do

• Maintain, monitor, and repair critical facility systems including HVAC, electrical, cabling, fire and life-safety, lighting, and building management systems
• read blueprints and schematics
• create and close maintenance work orders in the CMMS
• coordinate vendors and junior technicians
• operate fire alarm systems as needed for maintenance
• monitor BMS data, power and cooling performance, and PUE metrics
• develop and follow MOPs and support root-cause investigations
• maintain records and support emergency response and 24/7 coverage as needed.
