What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures
• place IV catheters
• perform venipuncture and blood draws
• restrain and handle patients
• conduct laboratory diagnostics
• monitor patients under general anesthesia and sedation
• track vital signs
• support surgical recovery
• maintain accurate medical records
• help ensure patient comfort and safety.
