Job overview

The Cashier role is onsite in Slidell, LA, with pay of $9 to $10 per hour. At Slidell Piggly Wiggly, cashiers provide a welcoming first point of contact for store customers. What you'll do

• Greet customers
• scan items and apply paid labels to items too large to bag
• process cash, card, and check payments
• count change and provide receipts
• handle returns and exchanges according to store policies and manager approval
• keep the register area clean and organized
• help stock when needed
• sweep and mop as needed.
