Accounting Specialist

The role maintains accurate accounting records through accounts payable and receivable data entry, payment and expense tracking, and recordkeeping. It also supports reporting and compliance so the organization can manage its financial operations reliably.

What you'll do

• Enter accounts payable documents
• manage credit card expenses
• communicate with employees as needed
• assist with accounts payable research and projects
• maintain files
• back up bank deposits and operational, fundraising, miscellaneous, or ACH entries
• maintain accurate payments, account adjustments, and aging reports
• perform cost analysis and periodic management and operational reports
• comply with company policies and applicable laws.

Why this role

Requires at least two years of accounting experience and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. An accounting bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
