Facilities Assistant

The Facilities Assistant role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is not specified. The position is part of CloudHQ’s Operations Team, supporting day-to-day operations of a large-scale data center electrical and mechanical plant. The role helps maintain facility readiness, appearance, and reliability through general maintenance, inspections, administrative records, and coordination of repairs and supplies. This support contributes to the availability of CloudHQ’s data center facilities.

What you'll do

• Assist with facility operations and minor modifications
• support security monitoring, shipping and receiving, and facility logs
• help obtain quotations and bid proposals
• schedule repairs and preventive maintenance
• clean and maintain facilities and grounds
• perform light carpentry, landscaping, painting, and door hardware adjustments
• assist with HVAC, electrical, fire extinguisher, and other equipment maintenance
• inspect common areas, exterior grounds, and roof areas
• maintain supplies and documents.
