Director of Quality Assurance

The Director of Quality Assurance role is onsite in the Mentor, OH area. Compensation is $100,000 per year. The director leads the quality function and team, developing systems and improvement initiatives that strengthen product and process quality, compliance, and business performance. The position partners with executive leadership, engineering, manufacturing, customers, and vendors to maintain standards and resolve quality issues.

What you'll do

• Lead quality operations, personnel, training, and improvement initiatives
• develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, policies, work instructions, documentation, inspection standards, and certifications
• direct internal, customer, and certification audits
• oversee corrective and preventive actions
• partner across departments and with customers and vendors
• monitor quality metrics and recommend improvements.
