The Registered Nurse (RN) — Full-Time Nights role is onsite in Wooster, OH. Compensation is $31.86–$44.39 per hour. The nurse supports patient care at Wooster Community Hospital. The RN provides professional, compassionate nursing care and directs paraprofessional care activities. The role contributes to patient outcomes through assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation, safe medication administration, patient and family education, and coordination with the healthcare team. The position requires an active Ohio license and a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS card; on-call status is required.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care according to hospital and unit policies and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act
• assess and reassess patients and document findings
• communicate changes in condition to physicians
• initiate, evaluate, and review care plans
• provide patient and family health teaching
• administer and evaluate medications safely
• lead team huddles and patient rounds to review safety, infection control, care standards, education, and patient satisfaction
• coordinate work and prioritize workload.
