Maintenance Technician, Temporary

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Mobile, AL; pay is $20 per hour. The position is temporary for a potential four to six months, with the possibility of becoming full-time in the future. Eden Vista Mobile is an assisted living and memory care community focused on supporting residents’ quality of life. The technician maintains the building and equipment so the community can operate safely and reliably. The role supports resident care by completing repairs, monitoring contractor projects, documenting safety inspections, and maintaining grounds and facility systems.

What you'll do

• Perform routine building and equipment maintenance and repairs
• monitor contractor renovation, remodeling, and replacement projects
• under supervision, maintain and repair HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers, dryers, and other equipment
• participate in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete, and masonry projects
• inspect and document fire-control equipment and sprinkler systems
• maintain facility safety logs and coordinate and document monthly fire drills
• inspect grounds and perform landscaping tasks.
