The Gastroenterologist, GI Hospitalist role is onsite in Bismarck, ND. Compensation is $4,945 per 24-hour shift. The position supports Sanford Clinic’s established gastroenterology team of five physicians and five advanced practice providers, serving Bismarck/Mandan and a wider regional area. The gastroenterologist provides inpatient consultations and procedures in collaboration with the emergency department and hospitalists, with limited outpatient procedures based mainly on department needs. The role supports GI hospitalist care through ERCP, with EUS preferred, and inpatient APP support for rounding, patient management, and care coordination.

What you'll do

• Provide inpatient GI consultations and procedures as needed in collaboration with the emergency department and hospitalists
• perform ERCP
• perform a limited number of outpatient procedures, mainly EUS and ERCP, based on department needs
• participate in 24-hour call shifts, in-house as needed.
