What you'll do

• Examine patients’ legs and feet
• diagnose diseases and deformities using histories, examinations, imaging, and laboratory results
• treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting feet and ankles
• perform procedures and wound care
• prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery
• advise patients on treatment and prevention
• educate patients, families, and healthcare teams
• promote health and prevention
• and maintain medical records.
