Mold Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift

The Mold Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Pensacola, FL, on the second shift. Pay is $19.90–$20.90 per hour. The role supports Jupiter Bach’s manufacturing of critical wind-energy components. The technician inspects, repairs, cleans, and maintains fiberglass molds to help ensure efficient operation, quality parts, and reduced production downtime. Timely repairs and maintenance also help production meet its schedules.

What you'll do

• Inspect fiberglass molds for cracks, surface defects, wear, and damage
• repair molds using resins, fiberglass mat, and tooling gel
• grind and sand repairs to specifications
• apply mold release agents as needed
• perform preventive maintenance and prepare molds for gelcoat
• replace gaskets and seals
• clean molds
• use tools and repair equipment safely
• document maintenance and repairs
• maintain repair-material inventory
• keep work areas organized and safe.
