Preschool Lead Teacher

The Preschool Lead Teacher role is onsite in Montgomery, IL, with a stated pay range of $18.29–$23.77 per hour. The teacher supports children’s learning and development in a Cadence Education classroom. The role leads classroom operations by planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and partnering with families and colleagues. It also supports children with varied developmental and learning needs, including implementation of IEPs and behavioral support plans as required.

What you'll do

• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom
• build professional relationships with children and families
• respond to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs and behavioral support plans as required
• plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence educational philosophy and Signature Programs
• communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using required systems
• maintain classroom safety and supervision
• document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors
• follow company policies and licensing requirements
• participate in required training, meetings, and professional development, which may occur outside scheduled work hours.
