Shop Crane Technician

What you'll do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and related equipment
• operate and inspect cranes to diagnose defects
• examine parts for damage or wear using micrometers and gauges
• read operating and parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
• test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment after repair
• prepare parts and drawings for jobs
• follow safety and manufacturer procedures
• complete work reports, time sheets, work orders, and expense reports
• communicate with customers. Overtime and weekend work are described as a plus
• periodic travel for field technicians is stated.
