Site Director — After-School Program

The Site Director — After-School Program role is onsite in Sterling, VA, Monday–Friday from 2:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $22–$25 per hour, and eligible new hires may receive a $500 hiring bonus subject to the stated eligibility conditions. AlphaBEST Education provides before-school, after-school, summer, and enrichment programs that support student learning and growth beyond the school day. The director leads daily program operations, supports staff, maintains safety and licensing compliance, and communicates with families and school partners. The role helps provide a structured, inclusive setting with engaging enrichment and learning activities for elementary students.

What you'll do

• Lead daily before- and after-school program operations
• maintain staff-to-student ratios and licensing compliance
• supervise and support staff
• implement enrichment and learning activities
• maintain attendance, documentation, and records
• ensure a safe, inclusive, structured environment
• communicate with families, school administration, and company leadership
• prepare for licensing visits and inspections
• monitor supplies, snacks, and program materials.
