Companion Caregiver

The Companion Caregiver role is in person in Hinsdale, IL, with pay of $19–$20 per hour. Always Best Care Chicagoland is a non-medical home care agency serving DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties and aims to help seniors remain safe and independent at home. The caregiver follows each client’s care plan and provides practical, non-medical support with daily activities. The role helps clients maintain mobility, personal care, household routines, and connection to appointments and community activities.

What you'll do

• Provide medication reminders
• assist with mobility and ambulation
• support personal care and hygiene
• help clients complete recommended exercises
• shop for or accompany clients shopping
• prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator
• respond responsibly to emergencies
• follow the care plan.
