Phlebotomist — New South Milwaukee Location

The Phlebotomist role is onsite in South Milwaukee, WI, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; pay is $18–$22 per hour. Muslim Community & Health Center is preparing to open an additional location to expand community access to its services; the anticipated start date is November 2, 2026, subject to operational timing. The phlebotomist supports patient care by collecting and processing specimens, coordinating with laboratory services, and maintaining accurate records. The role serves patients of all ages and supports efficient patient flow in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting.

What you'll do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections
• verify patient identity and label specimens
• prepare, process, and package specimens
• document in the EHR
• follow infection-control and safety protocols
• maintain supplies and draw areas
• coordinate specimen pickup or delivery
• assist with point-of-care testing as applicable
• communicate with patients and clinical staff
• liaise with the lab processing company.
